OUR STORY

Recognized responsiveness

We started our activity in 1991 as EIP – Equipamentos Industriais Poço, using Venture Capital funds, a form of financing for innovative SMEs, which allowed us to move forward with a strategic development plan that has proven successful in the national context.

Our activity has always focused on the metalworking sector, more specifically on the development and manufacture of equipment for industry, namely overhead cranes, industrial weighing equipment, silos for raw materials, conveyors and elevators, or metal structures, among many other solutions.

Throughout our journey, we have felt the need to adapt and find solutions to overcome various challenges, such as investing in new industrial sectors and new markets during times of economic crisis.

Gradually, the quality of our services has been recognized, not only in Portugal but also by the international industry, opening doors to new projects for the glass and ceramics industry.

Today, we are a recognized name and a success story in the industrial projects segment. Our experience gained over the years, combined with determination and the ability to embrace great challenges, has allowed us to build an exemplary portfolio.

TIMELINE

Our dates

1991

Establishment of the company EIP, with a share capital of 34,000 contos, approximately €169,500. 10 employees.

1995

Primeiro aumento do capital para 72.500 contos, aproximadamente 361.500€.

2000

Aquisição do capital da Sulpedi. A família Poço detém, agora, a totalidade da empresa, que passa a S.A.

2001

Ampliação das instalações, passando de 600 m2 para 1600 m2. 24 colaboradores.

2004

Montagem da estrutura metálica do Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, em Leiria.

2007

Primeira encomenda de uma fábrica chave na mão, em Angola, no valor de 8 milhões de euros.

2010

Segundo aumento de capital para 600.000€. 55 colaboradores.

2011

Terceiro aumento de capital para 1.200.000€. 64 colaboradores.

2012

Quarto aumento de capital para 1.500.000€. 75 colaboradores.

2014

Inauguração das atuais instalações.
97 colaboradores.
