POÇO once again participated in Glasstec 2026, one of the leading international trade fairs for the glass industry, held from 20 to 23 October in Düsseldorf, Germany.
With its own stand and represented by Carlos Poço, Eduardo Poço and Nuno Bagagem, the company took advantage of the four-day event to strengthen relationships with international clients and partners, establish new contacts and explore the latest innovations and trends in the sector.
Participating in this leading trade fair reinforces POÇO’s international presence and provides an opportunity to showcase its expertise and capabilities in the development and manufacture of industrial equipment and steel structures for the glass industry.
The 2026 edition brought together more than 1,170 exhibitors from 48 countries and welcomed trade visitors from 126 countries. The event’s international reach was evident, with 75% of visitors coming from abroad and almost one in four travelling from outside Europe.
This year, Glasstec placed particular emphasis on three key themes: artificial intelligence and digital technologies, decarbonisation and the circular economy. These topics were at the heart of presentations and discussions, reflecting the current challenges facing the glass industry and the growing demand for increasingly efficient, innovative and sustainable solutions.
The next edition of Glasstec will take place from 19 to 22 September 2028, once again in Düsseldorf, and POÇO intends to return, continuing its participation in this important international meeting point for the glass industry.
